Yes. While FAMORENOVO is based in Tunbridge Wells, we serve clients across the United Kingdom. Streaming and systems design work frequently combines on-site visits with remote delivery. For consulting engagements, the balance of remote and on-site work is agreed as part of the engagement structure based on the specific project requirements.
Duration depends significantly on the scope of the work. A focused streaming architecture audit typically takes three to four weeks. An end-to-end platform design and deployment can run from eight to twenty weeks. For new build projects, we provide a detailed timeline in the proposal following the initial discovery session, with milestones mapped against the specific scope agreed.
FAMORENOVO is vendor-independent. We have working experience with the major CDN operators, transcoding platforms and streaming infrastructure vendors, and we draw on this experience to make technically grounded recommendations based on the client's requirements. We do not have referral arrangements or commercial partnerships that would create incentives to recommend any particular vendor.
Pricing is structured according to the engagement model. Fixed-scope projects are priced as a fixed fee with a defined scope, timeline and deliverable set. Advisory retainers are priced at a monthly rate with defined hours. For larger programmes, we offer milestone-based payment structures aligned to project phases. All pricing is provided in a formal proposal following the initial discovery session — we do not publish standard rate cards as the appropriate pricing varies substantially with scope and context.
Yes. A significant portion of our work involves inheriting and improving infrastructure built by previous teams. We begin all such engagements with a structured audit that establishes an accurate picture of the current state — independent of whatever documentation may or may not exist.
